WHO WE ARE

Know who’s behind your support.

Safe & Smart Care is a registered NDIS provider supporting participants and aged care clients with practical, everyday support.

But choosing a provider is about more than reading a list of services.

You should also be able to understand who leads the organisation, how support is approached and who is accountable when something needs attention.

OUR APPROACH

Professional in how we operate. Human in how we support.

Safe & Smart Care exists to give people greater confidence in the support around them.

That means making the experience clearer from the beginning.

We listen before we make assumptions.

We consider fit before simply filling a roster.

We communicate so people know what is happening.

And we stay involved once support begins.

Our approach is built around three behaviours.

01 / LISTEN

We understand what matters.

We take time to understand the person, their preferences and what good support looks like for them.

02 / MATCH

We match support thoughtfully.

We consider the relationship between the participant and support worker rather than treating every vacancy as interchangeable.

03 / FOLLOW THROUGH

We follow through.

We stay connected and respond when something changes.

OUR STORY

Why Safe & Smart Care exists

Safe & Smart Care was founded by Sachin (Ash) in 2022 with a shared belief that good support begins with listening.

They saw that participants and families needed more than a provider to fill shifts. Too often, people experienced poor communication, unsuitable support-worker matches and commitments that were not followed through. They wanted to build an organisation that listened carefully, respected individual choices and took the time to find the right fit between participant, worker and provider.

Their professional experience working with people, managing services and supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds shaped an approach grounded in honesty, responsibility, consistency and respect. From the beginning, the aim was simple: make commitments carefully, communicate clearly and do what was promised.

Safe & Smart Care began by supporting one participant and has grown steadily through trust, referrals and strong relationships with participants, families and support coordinators. As the organisation has grown, Sachin and Jatinder have remained closely involved with participants, families and staff, listening to people’s experiences, responding when concerns arise and strengthening the systems that support safe, reliable service delivery.

LEADERSHIP

Accountability starts with knowing who is responsible.

Safe & Smart Care believes participants, families and professional partners should know who is behind the organisation.

HOW SUPPORT WORKS

Confidence comes from knowing what to expect.

01

We listen.

We begin by understanding the person, the support required and the preferences that matter.

02

We establish fit.

We consider the type of support, location, timing, needs and current capacity before confirming that we can help.

03

We consider the worker match.

Participant preferences and support requirements are considered when establishing the support relationship.

04

Support begins.

The participant knows what has been arranged and what to expect.

05

We stay connected.

Communication continues as the support relationship develops.

06

We respond when something changes.

Concerns should be raised, discussed and acted on rather than allowed to drift.

This process is supported by documented matching, communication and escalation procedures. Matching considers each participant’s needs, preferences, goals, location, cultural background and the skills and experience required of the support worker. Communication with participants, families, representatives and referral partners is recorded and followed up appropriately.

VALUES

Trusted. Reliable. Caring.

These are not intended to sit on a wall.

They should be visible in how the organisation behaves.

Trusted

We build trust by being clear about what we can provide, communicating honestly and doing what we say we will do.

Reliable

People organise their lives around support.

Reliability means treating agreed support, communication and follow-up seriously.

Caring

Support should never become purely transactional.

The person receiving it should remain visible in every decision.

QUALITY & ACCOUNTABILITY

Trust should be supported by evidence.
