OUR SERVICES

Community & Social Participation

Support to get out, participate, pursue interests and stay connected.

COMMUNITY & SOCIAL PARTICIPATION

Get out. Stay connected. Do more of what matters to you.

Community participation is personal.

For one person, it might mean joining a regular activity.

For another, it might be attending appointments, pursuing an interest, learning something new or simply getting out more often.

We begin with what participation means to the individual.

Not what we think it should mean.

FOR NDIS PARTICIPANTS

Support that works with your life.

You know your routines, preferences and priorities better than anyone.

We want to understand them before support begins.

We’ll talk with you about:

What support you need

When and where you need it

What matters in your daily routine

What you prefer in a support worker

How you want us to communicate with you

What you want your support to help you do

Because getting support should not mean giving up your say in how it works.

OUR APPROACH

Professional in how we operate. Human in how we support.

We understand what matters.

We take time to understand the person, their preferences and what good support looks like for them.

We match support thoughtfully.

We consider the relationship between the participant and support worker rather than treating every vacancy as interchangeable.

We follow through.

We stay connected and respond when something changes.

SERVICE BOUNDARIES

Before we say yes, let’s make sure the support is right.

Safe & Smart Care has confirmed that it is currently accepting new participant referrals across all registered service areas.

Suitability is still assessed for each referral so that support requirements, location, timing, worker capability and service fit can be considered before support is confirmed.

If a particular support arrangement is not the right fit, we will communicate that clearly rather than create uncertainty.

Start with a conversation.

Tell us what support is needed, where it’s required and what matters to the person.

We’ll listen, explain what we can provide and help you understand what happens next.
